Somerville: Hospital Offers Session on Pregnancy and Zika Virus

SOMERVILLE, NJ - With the Zika virus continuing to pose a threat to pregnant women, Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital/Somerset will offer a free educational program “Pregnant or Expecting To Be? What Every Woman Should Know About the Zika Virus” on Thursday, April 27 from 7-8:30 p.m. in the hospital’s Fuld Auditorium, 110 Rehill Ave.

The program is presented by Christina Duzyj, MD, an obstetrician and gynecologist. It is offered in collaboration with the Somerset County Health Department.

Convoy Delivers Wreaths of Honor to Somerset County

SOMERVILLE, NJ  - The Wreaths Across America convoy that stopped off in Manville Dec. 13 for ceremonies on its way from Maine to Arlington National Cemetery delivered two memorial wreaths to Somerset County officials.

On Friday, ceremonies were held at Veterans Memorial Plaza adjacent to the Somerset County Administration Building, and in Raritan, adjacent to the John Basilone Memorial.
