HILLSBOROUGH, NJ - Tuesday was just one of those days, where if things could go wrong, they did.
For starters, a Somerset County heavy-duty plow truck overturned at the intersection of Triangle Road and Route 206, with a full load of salt shortly after 7 a.m. Rush hour traffic was impacted while the pile of salt was cleaned up.
Shortly after noon, there was a water main break on East Mountain Road in front of the YMCA. The road was closed down while repair crews worked to contain and fix the leak.
Later in the afternoon, a school bus got snared in some wires at the intersection of Claudia Road and Taylor Avenue. The fire department was called initially, but they were called off when it was determined that the downed wires were for cable TV and not electrical.
