HILLSBOROUGH, NJ – A 29-year-old township resident has been charged with 2nd Degree Sexual Assault in connection with an incident that occured in August, according to Somerset County Prosecutor Michael H. Robertson.

Ryan J. Zamorsky of Eves Drive Road was arrested and charged by Somerset County detectives at the prosecutor's office in Somerville on Sept. 18th, according to Robertson, who provided the following account:

The Somerset County Prosecutor’s Office Sex Crimes and Child Abuse Unit was notified of a possible sexual assault that occurred in Hillsborough between Aug. 17th and 18th. Detectivesa woman who told them she was sleeping and awoke tot Zamorsky sexually assaulting her.

The victim immediately informed a family member and the incident was then reported to the police.

Zamorsky is being lodged at the Somerset County Jail pending a court appearance.

No other details were available.
