HILLSBOROUGH, NJ - The Township Police Department has released its lmost recent Police Blotter. The Rules of the Court require police to explain that any charges are merely an accusation and that those accused are presumed innocent until proven guilty. Unless stated otherwise, all of those arrested and/or issued summonses were processed at police headquarters and released pending a court hearing.

May 28, 2020:  Nicholas Turso, 23, of Hillsborough was arrested and charged with Theft for removing jewelry totaling $180 from the bedroom of the victim.

May 28: Michal Juricek, 30, of Trenton, was arrested and charged with Possession of CDS paraphernalia after a motor vehicle stop by police on Route 206. He was also issued a summons for Open container of alcoholic beverage in a motor vehicle.

May 29: Jennifer Frana, 41, of Hillsborough, was arrested and charged with Failure to turn over CDS to law enforcement and Possession of CDS paraphernalia after the vehicle she was in was pulled over by police on Route 206.

June 5: Brieana Bailey, 19, of Raritan, was arrested and charged with Driving while intoxicated as a result of a motor vehicle accident on Roycefield Road. She was also issued summonses for Reckless driving, Failure to observe a traffic signal, Leaving the scene of an accident, Failure to report an accident, Careless driving, and Failure to produce a driver's license.

June 12: Christopher Almanza, 19, of Carteret, was arrested and charged with Possession of marijuana and Possession of CDS paraphernalia after the car he was in was stopped by police on Route 206.

June 24: Jose Asuncion, 50, of Hillsborough, was arrested for Driving while intoxicated after being stopped on Route 206 by police as a result of a motor vehicle complaint. He was also issued a summons for Open container of Alcoholic beverage in a motor vehicle. 

June 24: Christopher Lombardi, 21, of New Providence, was arrested and charged with Possession of Marijuana after being stopped by police on Roycefield Road. He was also charged with Possession of CDS in a motor vehicle and Speeding.

July 1: Kyle Kellner, 21, of Manville, was arrested and charged with Possession of marijuana after he was stopped by police on Route 206. He was also given a summons for Possession of CDS in a motor vehicle.

July 5: Andrew Shee, 22, of Edison, was arrested and charged with Driving while intoxicated after being stopped by police on Route 206. He was also issued summonses for Careless driving, Failure to keep right, Maintenance of lamps, Failure to slow when approaching stationary emergency vehicle, Refusal to submit to breath test.

July 5: Samantha Schaefer, 23, of Lighthouse Point, FL, was arrested and charged with Possession of Marijuana and Possession of CDS paraphernalia after the vehicle she was in was stopped by police on Amwell Road.
