American Flag Flies at Half-Staff to Observe 75h Anniversary of V-E Day


TRENTON, NJ - Gov. Phil Murphy on Friday ordered that the U.S. and New Jersey flags be flown at half-staff at all state buildings and facilities in recognition of the 75th Anniversary of V-E Day, May 8th, 1945.

The flags will also fly at half-staff to honor the victims of COVID-19, pursuant to Executive Order No. 114, which remains in effect indefinitely.

MANVILLE, NJ – A car was set on fire and tires were slashed on 42 vehicles parked on the streets and in driveways early Wednesday morning In an incident similar to three others that occurred in the northwest section of the borough in June and August, 2018 when a total of 155 cars were targeted.
