HILLSBOROUGH, NJ - Mary, Mother of God Church will live stream Catholic masses daily while the church and all other Catholic churches in the Diocese of Metuchen remain closed now through the weekend of April 4-5 in an efort to stem the spread of the Coronavirus (COVID-19).

All five Catholic dioceses in New Jersey are adhering to the closed door policy and offering masses online.

Bishop James Checchio also announced this week that the Diocese would live stream mass daily at 7 a.m. from St. Francis of Assisi Cathedral in Metuchen.

The live stream mass schedule at Mary, Mother of God begins with mass Sunday 1t 10:30 a.m.; Monday, 7:30 p.m.; Tuesday-Saturday, 8:30 a.m. and Saturday at 5 p.m. and 6:30p.m. in Spanish.

Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament will continue to be Friday from 9 a.m. through Sunday 10 a.m. in the Chapel.

Stations of the Cross for the duration of Lent are canceled. 

The Parish Office hours are Monday-Friday 9 a.m.-noon.



In cases of true emergencies, please contact the parish office to receive either the Sacrament of Reconciliation or the Anointing of the Sick.

Mary Mother of God Church will remain open as usual for private prayer from 7 a.m.-7 p.m. 

The church is also asking that parishioners be mindful of the need for their continuing financial support. Offerings can continue to be mailed to the church, 157 South Triangle Road, Hillsborough, 08844 or pledged online at www.myowngiving.com.
