BRIDGEWATER, NJ - The Somerset County Library System of New Jersey partnered with the Somerset Patriots for an action-packed Library Night Aug. 27 at TD Bank Ballpark to commemorate the completion of SCLSNJ’s Summer Reading Challenge.

Baseball fans and Library customers connected with multiple authors; shared the fun of baseball; discovered what their Library had to offer; and more.

The Library system saw increases in both patron participation and total days read from 2018. The 9,600 Somerset County residents who participated in the Summer Reading Challenge logged a total of 181,910 days read, a 6 percent increase from the previous year.
