LANCASTER, PA - The Lancaster Barnstormers (5-8, 29-54) handed the Somerset Patriots (5-8, 47-36) their worst loss of the season in a 10-0 rout Thursday evening at Clipper Magazine Stadium.

The Barnstormers struck first with four two-out runs in the bottom of the first inning. An Andrew Aplin two-run single and a Greg Golson two-run double gave Lancaster the early 4-0 lead.

Four more Barnstormers runs came home in the bottom of the fourth. Caleb Gindl grounded into a run-scoring fielder’s choice to make it 5-0 before Joe Terdoslavich (14) hit a three-run home run to put the game out of reach.

Lancaster added a Golson RBI single in the bottom of the seventh and a Destin Hood RBI double in the eighth to top off the scoring.

Mike Fransoso tossed an inning of relief in the eighth - his first appearance on the mound since 2015.

Buddy Baumann (W, 4-7) earned the win, scattering four hits and one walk over a complete game shutout. Vince Molesky (L, 3-1) allowed eight runs on nine hits over five and two-thirds innings to take the loss.
