HILLSBOROUGH, NJ – The Hillsborough High School Varsity softball team and the Middle School softball team were both honored by the Township Committee for their success on the field this season.

The Hillsborough High School Varsity softball team posted a 14-5 record but they seeded second in the 2019 Somerset County Tournament and ultimately won 2019 Somerset County Champions.

The team is led by Head Coach Cheryl Iaione and includes the following athletes:

Julia Allan, Victoria Brea, Anisha Gademsky, Brianna Holodinski, Nicole Kazantzis, Julia Kwiatek, Karlie Manco, Mikayla O’Neill, Emily Orr, Carli Perruso, Gabriela Pertab, Carly Quabeck, Katie Rygiel, Sierra Skala, Delaney Smith, Lauren Spalluto, Olivia Warner and Courtney Wengryn.

The 2019 Hillsborough Middle School Softball Team finished the season with a 13-1 record and won the Central Jersey Junior School Softball Association (CJSSA) Championship for the sixth time in seven years.

The 2019 Hillsborough Middle School Softball Team was led by Head Coach Rich Rosenblum consisted of the following young athletes: Grace Brouillard, Clay’le Correa, Anna Dao, Sarah Davenport, Adrianna Fetaya, Lexi Kobryn, Lyndzie Kowalski, Claire Marcinek, Jenna Massi, Colleen Mayer, Clair Murphy, Lilly McDonough, Amy Rachilla, Danella Silagy and statistician Faith Skavron.
