HILLSBOROUGH, NJ - The Hillsborough Raiders broke a four-game losing streak at home, led by Sean Levonaitis who scored 4 TDs in Friday night’s 41-6 win over Watchung Hills Regional High School.
The Raiders scored a defensive TD in the first quarter when Tawe Tawe recovered a fumble in the end zone.
Derek Fenimore scored the Raiders' first offensive TD with a 5-yard run.
Levonaitis scored the next four TDs, catching a 78-yard pass from quarterback Matt Popadiuk in the second quarter. He followed that with a 22-yard run to close out the first half.
Levonaitis picked it up again in the third quarter, scoring on a 17-yard run and a 58-yard run.
Fenimore rushed for 29 yards on 9 carries. Seven other ball carriers rounded out the offense for the Raiders, who scored 14 points in the first quarter, 13 points in the second quarter and 14 points in the third quarter.
Watchung Hills was shut out until the fourth quarter when they scored on a one-yard run.
The Raiders defense was led by Tim Franks, who had two sacks.
The Raiders season had started off with three straight wins before the 4-game losing streak. The team finishes with a record of 4-4.
