HILLSIDE, NJ – Joel Champman, Kim Cook, Dennis Kobit, PinChas Shapiro and Laquana Best – also known as the “Children's First Team” are the unofficial winners of the Hillside Board of Education election held Tuesday.

 

The mission for the children's first team is: “We welcome all children. We accept all children. Our children deserve a first-class education that will prepare them for 21st-century career opportunities.

 

“We must cultivate, motivate and encourage every student to embrace the never-ending journey of learning, critical thinking, self-accountability and decision making skills necessary to be a productive member of society...”
