Hillside, NJ-- Due to recent member resignation, Hillside’s Board of Education is currently seeking a candidate to fill this vacancy. The position will serve from this current school year until the end of December 2020. Given the individual has met state requirements and has resided in Hillside Township for one year, upon selection for the Board. Further requirements include that the potential candidate is a registered voter inside of the school district and also are well-versed with written communication. This candidacy excludes any persons who are employees of the Board or are Township Council members.
Persons who wish to fill this position are encouraged to send a letter of interest and other valuable information stating their qualifications, to receive consideration. Included in this letter should be reasons why an individual’s selection would bring value to the Board and school district.
The Next Board of Education’s monthly meeting is taking place at the Saybrook School on October 17, 2019. Potential candidates should participate in the meeting for review and conversation regarding the position details.
