CASA of Union County Information Session

Have a passion to help the youth in our community? There are over 500 children in foster care right here in Union County. Come to an Information Session to hear more about becoming a CASA Volunteer for a child in need! No special skills or experience needed!


Our sessions run about an hour and we provide information about the volunteer commitment and requirements to be a CASA, the important work that we do and how volunteer advocacy really makes a difference in the lives of children who need a consistent, caring adult presence to help their voices be heard.

Montclair NAACP Issues Statement on BOE Superintendent Parkers Comments on Racist Teachers

MONTCLAIR, NJ - The Montclair NAACP has issued a statement regarding Interim Superintendent Nathan Parker's comments on racist teachers.

Parents allege that Parker said that he does, "...not have a problem if a teacher is found to be racist, as long as it doesn't disrupt instruction."

The Union County Board of Elections reminds residents that May 12 is the deadline for voter registration for the 2020 Presidential primary. Primary Day will be on Tuesday, June 2.
