Mayor Vertreese Continues to Honor Hillside’s Sheroes

HILLSIDE, NJ - Hillside Mayor Dahlia Vertreese will honor two more Township residents for Women’s History Month Sunday, recognizing Summer Green and Rayba Watson on Sunday, March 21 via a Facebook Live chat.

Aging Water Main to be Replaced in Hillside

HILLSIDE, NJ - Approximately 4,420 feet of aging water main in Hillside will be replaced starting next week. The project also includes replacing eight fire hydrants and 121 utility-owned service lines along the pipeline route. The company will upgrade the aging 6-inch cast iron water lines that were installed in the 1920s with new 8-inch ductile iron main along the following streets:
