Nicholas Vicidomini Made Honorary Hillside Fireman

HILLSIDE, NJ - Nicholas Vicidomini, a young boy with autism, has been named an honorary fireman with the Hillside Fire Department.  Vicidomini was recently asked to leave Christ the King Church in Hillside because he was playing and making noise.

Police Chase Out of Hillside Ends in Westfield Crash, Road Closure

WESTFIELD, NJ — The 300 block of Springfield Avenue is closed Tuesday following a crash involving a stolen car out of Hillside, police said.

The crash happened at around 1:44 a.m., Sgt. Michael Walsh said. Hillside police chased the vehicle from Kenilworth Boulevard and then onto Springfield Avenue, Walsh said.
