HUDSON COUNTY, NJ - The Hudson Transportation Management Association (TMA) is encouraging residents to consider their travel options, and, where possible, help cut down on traffic and carbon emissions by using alternate modes of transportation including car pooling, public transportation, cycling, and walking.

This week, in recognition of CarFree week, they are also especially hoping drivers will make at least one day car free or car lite.“The impact we can have on the environment by leaving our cars at home, if just for a day, or even an hour by making a short errand on foot or bike, is tremendous,” Jay DiDomenico, Director, Hudson TMA said. “With brisk mornings and warm afternoons expected all week the weather is also cooperating so that everyone can do something good for the health of their community, and their own!”
