HOBOKEN, NJ - Hoboken Police nabbed two Union City men for package theft Thursday night.

At around 7:40 p.m., Police Officer Tyrone Huggins reported seeing two males taking a package from a residential building in the area of 5th and Monroe Street. The men were then seen opening the package, removing the contents and discarding the package in nearby bushes.

Officer Huggins, who was off duty at the time, followed the two males until Officers Michael Aviles and Teddy Santiago arrived in uniform and placed them under arrest in the area of 720 Monroe Street.

The two alleged perpetrators were identified as Moises Cabrera, 31, and Justin Reyes, 28. Both from Union City, the pair were charged with Burglary and Theft. They were transported and committed to the Hudson County Correctional Facility.

They remain innocent until proven guilty.
