HOBOKEN, NJ - Organizers of the Hoboken Homeless Shelter’s HoBOOken 5K have announced that entries for their T-Shirt design contest are now being accepted. The submission deadline is Tuesday, September 15.
Both adults and kids (12 years and younger) are encouraged to enter their designs which must include the name of the race, the year, The Hoboken Shelter and Hoboken, NJ, either in the artwork of below it. The winning entry in each category will be featured on race T-shirts which are often sported around town and related materials.
Artists may only submit one design to be used to T-shirts and other materials, though the winning artist may be asked to create variations of their artwork for additional uses. Files must be sent as both .pdf and vector forms (.eps, .ai. etc.). Designs should be limited to three colors and artists are reminded that the shirts are a light color uni-sex material.
Entries should be emailed to email@example.com. Please include your full name, age, and telephone number with your entry. Children’s entries should also include the full name and telephone number of a parent or guardian.
Adult winners will also receive two free entries to the 2020 and 2021 Hobooken 5Ks and a sweatshirt printed with your design, while the children’s group winner will receive entries for themselves and a parent of guardian for the next two races, as well as sweatshirt with their design.
