HOBOKEN, NJ - The intersection of 11th & Madison Streets in Hoboken is no stranger to urban flooding, but this time it's a pretty substantial Water Main Break.
According to the City of Hoboken:
A water main break has been reported at 11th and Madison Streets in Hoboken. Residents may experience a decrease in water pressure. SUEZ is en route to the area to respond to the break. Residents are asked to please avoid the area.
The intersection of 11th & Madison is adjacent to the Hoboken ShopRite parking lot, creating additional difficulties.
This comes as water service is restored following a massive water main break in Kearny yesterday, disrupting the supply to Hoboken & Jersey City.
New outages have been reported throughout Hoboken. Both Hoboken and Jersey City remain under a boil water advisory.
