Carolyn Andress of HUB International Named President of the
New Jersey Association of Health Underwriters
Hazlet, N.J. – June 12, 2018 – Carolyn Andress has been elected President of the New Jersey Association of Health Underwriters (NJAHU), a statewide organization representing licensed health insurance agents, brokers, consultants and benefit professionals in New Jersey who service the health insurance needs of large and small employers as well as individuals.
Andress, of Hazlet, NJ, a vice president of HUB International in Wall Township, is exceptionally qualified for the position of President. Andress has been active in the NJAHU since 2013. Previously, Andress served as State Secretary, Conference Chair, as well as President and Education Chair of the Monmouth-Ocean Chapter of NJAHU. She was a recipient of the 2014 Shooting Star Award and 2015 Presidents Award.
Andress said this is a pivotal time for the association.
“With the critical issues currently facing our industry, NJAHU’s role as advocate for New Jersey’s health insurance brokers and the customers we serve is more important than ever,” she said. “The NJAHU must continue to provide the most up-to-date information to our members about the constantly changing regulations they need to know. We serve as an important source of information for the legislators who craft those regulations that will affect both businesses and consumers in our state.”
In her role at HUB International, Andress is responsible for new business development, client relationship management and strategic planning.
