Colts Neck Township Committee Delivers with Award of $210,000 Grant from New Jersey Department of Transportation

COLTS NECK - The Colts Neck Township Committee delivered to their residents during a recent grant application process with NJDOT. Awards were released 5-24-2017.

They received an award of $210,000. During a time of scarce grant dollars, this provides needed funding for key goals within a municipality.

This competitive annual process requires detailed submissions, including engineering calculations and a focused effort to identify key areas of need. Awarded annually, the NJDOT looks towards programs and projects that provide clear benefit to the residents of Colts Neck and the region in general. In this particular application, they were approved for the project entitled FIVE POINTS ROAD PHASE III. Other area Monmouth County towns were awarded as follows:

  1. Howell - $210,000
  2. Freehold Borough - $185,000
  3. Manalapan - $185,000
  4. Holmdel - No Award Listed By NJDOT for 2017
  5. Middletown - $185,000
