Frank T. Corrado, CFP, Elected to the Board of Directors For the Alliance of Comprehensive Planners
Holmdel, NJ (October 3, 2017) -- This week, the Alliance of Comprehensive Planners (ACP) announced two new board members, including New Jersey native, Frank T. Corrado, CFP, co-founder of Blue Blaze Financial Advisors, based in the Bell Works building located in Holmdel, NJ. The ACP is the national, professional organization of tax-focused, fee-only financial planners. Blue Blaze Financial Advisors is part of a national, leadership movement that is transforming the field of financial advising with the Financial Life Guidance service model.
Since joining ACP, Corrado has provided consistent leadership, most recently serving as chair for the organization’s annual conference. In this capacity, he helped ACP achieve record-breaking attendance and increased active involvement on conference committees. As a member of the board, his main goals include:
- To establish and evolve ACP’s brand awareness to both consumers and advisors.
- To grow the network of ACP membership.
- To expand the capabilities of ACPConnect for effectiveness and user experience.
- To support the annual conference to continue its best in class experience.
After graduating Boston College in 2006, Corrado began his career in finance with Anderson Tax, a high net worth tax consulting firm. In 2009, he left tax accounting to join his father, Frank J. Corrado, Jr., CPA, CFP, to start Blue Blaze Financial Advisors. The Blue Blaze mission is to help clients realize every opportunity to live a life rich with experience. To do this, they work in close collaboration with their clients to discover each person’s unique life goals and then develop an actionable plan to achieve them.
In his nomination statement, Corrado said, “The Alliance of Comprehensive Planners is ahead of its time. We do not require a law to put client interests ahead of our own - it’s just in our nature. We understand the unique value that comes with fulfilling life and financial goals via smart, sensible, comprehensive planning.
I seek to serve on the ACP Board of Directors to effectuate and spread the organization’s core vision: to be America's leading community of independent financial planners committed to success through our ethics and innovation.”
In her statement welcoming the two newest members of the Board, including Corrado, ACP Executive Director Joanne Davis said, “I am confident that ACP will benefit greatly from their insight, vision and leadership.”
ACP board members are appointed for a three-year term.

About the Alliance of Comprehensive Planners
Established in 1995 (originally, as ACA, or the Alliance of Cambridge Advisors), ACP is a 501(c) (6) not-for-profit community of financial planners working toward individual and common goals. Training and professional development are ACP hallmarks. It is the right and responsibility of members to share knowledge and expertise. This results in a dynamic forum for open exchange of ideas and an incubator of cutting-edge comprehensive planning concepts, methodologies and tools.
ACP members are fee-only advisors that use the retainer model for determining their compensation with their clients. This commitment reflects the fiduciary relationship, essential to establishing trust and minimizing real and perceived conflicts of interest between a client’s assets and an advisor’s guidance.
