HOLMDEL, N.J. - Some of us have our head in the clouds. When it comes to business, it is becoming the only place to be - in terms of technology. When it comes to the cloud, it is all about business and as more and more businesses migrate their data to the cloud, many IT companies are there to assist in the transition.

One local Holmdel business,  The Data Pros,  is so successful that they were  recognized last month by CIO Review Magazine as part of the 20 Most Promising Microsoft Solutions Providers.

Cloud computing has become the new standard in how many businesses operate. Instead of the cumbersome hardware requirements of years past and the related security issues involved, they are migrating to the cloud. This frees up capital, space, technology updating and more. Unfortunately, many small to medium size businesses may not have the resources to manage migration to the newer standards.

Where companies like The Data Pros come in is through providing the needed services on a reasonably priced basis. These companies provide the back end information technology support for a price point that would normally be out of reach.

CIO Review Magazine interviewed Joe Simuro last month in relation to his recognition:

Joseph Simuro, Managing Partner of The Data Pros, explains the reason behind the growing popularity of cloud computing among SMB’s. He states, “Cloud computing is perfect  for  startup  companies because  of  its low  upfront  capital expense.”

For larger SMB’s these investments are considered a part of the operational cost rather than capital expenditures. Understanding the trend, The Data Pros leverages its years of business knowledge and technology expertise to support SMB’s using Microsoft’s Cloud Solutions, helping make their business more efficient and productive. “At The Data Pros, we’re committed to maximizing the Microsoft Cloud Solution experience for our clients” says Simuro.

Recognized as ‘Microsoft Partner of the Year’ (in the Eastern Region) twice, The Data Pros is among the Top 10 percent of Microsoft  partners.  Moving forward,  Simuro  mentions,  “Microsoft  Azure  is constantly witnessing an upward trend in cloud computing market.”  Currently,  only  15  percent  of  The  Data  Pros’ client base leverage Microsoft Azure platform, but Simuro expects  this  number  to  grow  significantly  in  the  coming years. “We believe  2018 will  be  a  big  Azure year  for  us,” concludes Simuro.

The Data Pros is also a Charter Member of the Holmdel Chamber of Commerce. They can be reached at http://www.the-data-pros.net
