HOLMDEL, N.J. - The setting was really cool (and so was the weather) as the Holmdel Foundation for Educational Excellence held its 1K Fun Run for Kids at 8:45AM on Sunday. The 5K Run started at 9:30AM.
It was a great crowd as readers can see in the many videos and dozens of photos attached here. HFEE ran a festive and organized event with registration tables, time clocks, dj music, refreshments and more. Public safety personnel were on on hand to assist in traffic control and help ensure the safety of all runners and guests.
The weather was just perfect for the runners (and walkers!). The first group in the gate were the children:
The laughter and playfulness extended directly into Your Metroburb of Bell Works as youngsters were actually playing football inside the building:
The location is truly a gathering place with much more to come.
