HOLMDEL, NJ - Standout Holmdel Football player Daniel Tempone has been chosen to receive a $1,000 scholarship from New Jersey American Youth Football. Tempone is a senior at Holmdel High School and is deciding between Virginia Tech and Purdue University for his college education.
There were 8 recipients of the scholarship, 4 females and 4 males. Tempone and his proud family will be joined by other winners at a breakfast presentation ceremony on April 6th at 9AM at the Doubletree Hotel in Eatontown.
Hard work is a key to his success and according to Tempone he "always wears his belt buckle for good luck on game days."
His proud family is father Dan, mother Jeannie. His sister Carrie is a sophomore at Holmdel High School, and his brother Matt is in 7th grade at Holmdel's William R. Satz School.
