COLTS NECK, N.J. - It's that time of the year again as the Super Bowl is coming soon and Colts Neck Community Church just held their fourth annual Chili Cook-off on Sunday. With about 25 entries and some significant competition, the guest judges had their hands, and mouths, full of anticipation. There were numbered crockpots for each entry set up and tasting cups available as well. The judging was anonymous, meaning the judges did not know which entry belonged to whom.

Catering to a crowded room of about 200 happy chili tasters, Pastor Chris Durkin thanked everyone for coming and gave special thanks to the judges;

  • Mayor J.P. Bartolomeo
  • Committeeman and former Mayor Russell Macnow
  • Parks and Recreation Director Thomas Hennessy
  • CNBA President Glen Dalakian
  • U.S. Commanding Officer Captain Pierre Fuller, NWS Earle
