Holmdel, NJ, May 7th 2020 - Holmdel High School students were successful at the 72nd Delaware Valley Science Fair (DVSF, https://drexel.edu/dvsf/). Special congratulations to Benjamin Lin (Junior), who was also named the Silver Medalist of all categories of 11th grade. Lin will be honored as a finalist of the Regeneron International Science and Engineering Fair (ISEF) with a finalist medal and certificate. Unfortunately, the ISEF event for 2020 has been canceled; however, Lin will further be honored as an alumnus of the Society for the Science and the Public, the organization that runs the ISEF. Lin is also one of five competitors to be offered a partial scholarship from Drexel University.

This is the second time in recent years that a Holmdel High School student is named a medalist at DVSF and a finalist at the prestigious Regeneron ISEF.

Additionally, the following students are members of the Honors Advanced Research class taught by Dr. Josephine Blaha at Holmdel High School. They have been involved in sophisticated STEM research projects that advanced to the Delaware Valley Science Fair after selection as winning entries in the regional Jersey Shore Science Fair (JSSF) in March 2020 (https://stockton.edu/jssf/winners.html).
