NEW BRUNSWICK, NJ - On November 18, Girl Scouts of Central & Southern NJ will be hosting the G.I.R.L. Leadership Summit from 9 AM to 3 PM at Rutgers University – New Brunswick. Girl Scouts has been leading the way for girls across the country for 105 years, and GSCSNJ is celebrating the 10th anniversary of their innovative, teen-directed leadership program.

Attendees choose workshops designed, created, and led by high school Girl Scouts partnered with a professional. One of the exciting workshop offerings this year includes a political action workshop: Use Your Voice, Take A Stand, led by Girl Scout Madeleine and a female candidate for NJ State Assembly. Another workshop option, Make Your Point, focuses on communicating effectively and is hosted by Girl Scout Teresa and co-facilitated by a female attorney and contributor to CNN, MSNBC, and Fox News. Girls will choose from seven workshops in all.

The event also features a Career Café—an open networking event where girls can meet with local professionals in a variety of careers. GSCSNJ is pleased to welcome over twenty distinguished professionals to this year’s Career Café, including:
