Mighty Mite AYF Program Completes a Fantastic Season

HOLMDEL, N.J. - The Holmdel 8/9 year old  Mighty Mite AYF football team just finished their season last Sunday. The Holmdel Hornet Mighty Mite program had a incredible season and created a Buzz throughout Central NJ.  The Mighty Mite level is considered Non competitive and no offical score is kept on the score board. Week after week the opposing coaches had nothing but praise for the 7U and 8/9U  Holmdel AYF football teams. The boys played at a very high level and had a tough schedule playing against very large towns and represented our town and youth football program in the highest regard. We repeated the same on the field success in Back to Back seasons at the 8/9 level.  The word is out in our area that the 7-9's year old football  future is very bright for our boys!

These boys have a high football IQ and  know more football at the age of 9  than I ever did as their head coach until 9th grade!  Please enjoy our video highlights from our last game vs. Fords in Woodbridge and even though no official score was kept on the scoreboard the highlight video explains the rest which meant it was a great season for our Mighty Mite 8/9 Hornets!
