MONMOUTH COUNTY, NJ:  Recently,  The Navesink Business Group  (NBG) which is based in Red Bank, hosted a business networking gathering at the Bella Vista Country Club in Marlboro. The weather was perfect for guests to enjoy cocktails and a buffet of menu sample selections on Bella Vista's spacious terrace and beautifully landscaped gardens. The Bella Vista Golf Course was voted number one in Monmouth County for the past six years.

Rob Lowe, Executive Director of NBG commented, "Tonight was a great evening of true business networking. We had a strong showing of our members in addition to guests from other Monmouth County business groups. This created a significant regional event with a lot of new business connections made for many." Lowe thanked the owner of Bella Vista, Anthony Bashara and mentioned the great support that Bashara gives to the community, specifically in support of our military.

The group heard from special guests in attendance representing Operation Homefront and Naval Weapons Station Earle

See video here from Operation Homefront's Senior Director Peter M. Stinson on ways to assist local military families so they can best thrive:

Stinson in the video talks about Back to School Brigade, a program designed to collect back to school backpacks  for our military children in Monmouth County. If you would like to donate a back pack to a local military child the local businesses accepting the backpacks from now through the end of July are: Colts Neck Dance and Performing Arts Academy, located on  410 State Route 34 in Colts Neck, and Title Boxing located in the Kohls Plaza in Holmdel. You may drop off a back pack donation at one of these locations during their regular business hours. Children and teen backpacks are needed. The backpacks should be new and empty. Note: Colts Neck Dance also provides in memory of James P. Ladley, a 50 percent discount to military families. This is ongoing and is 50 percent off of all tuition, classes, summer camps and special programs.

Dennis Blazak, Community Plans & Liasion Officer for Naval Weapons Stations Earle (NWSE) thanked Peter Stinson for attending the event and spoke about the mission of NWSE and the 75th Anniversary of Earle celebrated this year.
