HOLMDEL, NJ - A who's who of local, county and state Republicans stopped by on a beautiful Thursday evening to support the local Republican ticket of Flynn and Luccarelli as well as newly reopened local businesses.  Flynn and Luccarelli are running on the line with President Donald Trump. The event was an opportunity for them to speak with Holmdel residents, enjoy a good meal with friends, family and supporters,  and raise a few dollars during the last couple weeks of Election 2020. The location of the event was Patricia's of Holmdel.

Vicky Flynn and DJ Luccarelli are running for two available Holmdel Township Committee seats. The election is being held on July 7th. The other candidates running on the 'We the People' ticket are Greg Buontempo  Ron Emma.

During the pandemic the rules for the election have changed. Every registered Republican or Democrat received an absentee ballot. So, the main method of voting will be by mail. Some folks may wish to vote in person but it will be very difficult. First, the full complement of polling locations may not be available. Also, you will be given a paper ballot if you go to the polls.

Flynn and Luccarelli thanked supporters for attending. "We look forward to the opportunity to serve Holmdel with your support and vote on July 7th." said Luccarelli.  "Working together with everyone in a professional and positive way is key to ensuring that Holmdel remains a great place to live work and raise a family." said Flynn

In attendance at the event were many Holmdel residents as well as Freeholder Sue Kiley, Assemblyman Gerry Scharfenberger, Freeholder Patrick Impreveduto and Flynn's fellow Holmdel Board of Education members Brian Foster, Mike Sockol and Terence Wall.

Patricia's is now open inside and outside as well with a lovely brick patio for outside seating. You can visit the restaurant at their website HERE.
