HOLMDEL, NJ  - Holmdel Schools continue to move forward on the 2020 Referendum work.

While you can see some ongoing results thus far on the Roggy Field lights, tennis courts, fields, Indian Hill School driveway and parking lot and elsewhere, significant upgrades are on the way during the summer when schools are closed. One way folks can see what is happening is throgh the eyes of the very people who stand to benefit greatly - the students!

One reason for the schedule is that so much of the work will be internal. There has been some internal work completed already however. You can see it today in the video below. Holmdel High student and Hornet Report reporter Robert Anderson goes on tour of some high tech new amenities.

The work will be quite intense in the summer months and even resulted in a special calendar adjustment to accommodate the work. Some parents expressed dismay on the new schedule since the new year will start a few days later with a truncated spring break. The schedule will likely resume normalcy in the following year. Hopefully we will see more great updates from the key stakeholder group - the students - in their locally produced newscast - the Hornet Report.
