SCAN Board President Jim Winn says, "Having served on the SCAN Board for the past three years, I can tell you that SCAN is an amazing organization. They provide today's active adults with valuable resources and I can't say enough great things about SCAN's executive director Pat Bohse and her team. The SCAN organization is an incredible asset to the communities it serves."

On the morning of June 20th, in recognition of national Alzheimer's and brain awareness month, SCAN hosted a free Brain Fair at the Bayshore Senior Center in Keansburg. The event was a successful one with regard to attendees, vendors and presentations. Refreshments were provided and the room was lively with interesting and engaging speakers. The overall theme for the Brain Fair was "Engage Your Brain" and that mission was accomplished well with interactive stations featuring puzzles, word games, trivia and so much more.
