St. Catharine's Annual Picnic in Holmdel a Great Success

Many of the volunteers on the parish picnic leadership team.

HOLMDEL, N.J. - The annual Saint Catharine's Church picnic brought together parishioners and their families, neighbors and friends to share an enjoyable perfect sunny day together. They came simply to relax, enjoy each other's company and conversation. Attendees noted the great food (including sausage and peppers, salads, burgers, corn and hot dogs and more), children's bounce attractions, and craft activities. They had something for everyone, including a DJ, hair beading and face painting. The cotton candy and popcorn flowed freely throughout the day. The picnic would not have been possible without the army of dedicated volunteers who proudly wore their red shirts and worked hard throughout the day.

Co-Chairs Chris Briamonte and Brain Teevan hit a home run and the photography was easy with so many happy faces. Monsignor Vaughn was on hand as well to show support and officiate a few three legged races. See video here:

The weather was perfect for the annual family picnic that has become a real tradition for so many local families that come back year after year.  Congratulations to all of the volunteers on the great success.
