The Central Jersey Sports Broadcasting Camp is for students who are serious about a career in television sports.

• Learn all that goes into anchoring a sportscast from our studio set.

The Holmdel High School television studio production facilities feature:

• A fully functional control room with

TriCaster switcher, audio board, teleprompter and character generator

• 3 High Definition Studio Cameras with


• Instructional space for video review

• 10 IMac Desktop computer stations with Adobe Premiere editing software

• High Definition ENG video cameras

• 30 Dell Desktop computers for writing and researching


Instructor Bios:


Bryan DeNovellis

From 2000-2012, Bryan DeNovellis was a sports anchor at News 12 New Jersey. He served in a variety of roles including host of the popular Friday Night Football, and sports director. Bryan had the pleasure of interviewing some of the biggest sports stars and reporting on the most memorable events in New Jersey sports history including Super Bowls, Stanley Cup Finals and NBA Finals. He currently teaches Television and Video Production and oversees the Television and Film Society at Holmdel High School in Monmouth County.


Kurt Siegelin

A news and sports anchor at News 12 New Jersey since 1996, Kurt Siegelin is the creator of Friday Night Football and the Jersey Sports Final. A winner of two Emmy Awards for reporting, Kurt has covered every major sporting event in New Jersey the last two decades. Besides his current news anchoring duties, Kurt also teaches sportscasting, television news, news reporting and television production at William Paterson University and FDU- Florham University.
