HOLMDEL:  Know your neighbor! In this case, tune into your neighbor this Sunday morning, September 9, at 7:30 a.m. to view MSNBC's program; Your Business.  The business segment will include youth sports safety, specifically with regard to girls. The program will feature Holmdel based Hummingbird Sports, and founder Rob Stolker.  The Stolkers are parents of four daughters in Holmdel, all who love to play sports.

Julie Stolker says, "We quickly realized as our girls became more involved in sports that even though girls sports has evolved the safety equipment, accessories and apparel has not evolved to meet their needs."   Rob Stolker as he began coaching his girls could not believe that the safety standards in place for boys sports did not exist for girls. They quickly created a company called Hummingbird Sports, hyper focused on safety gear, apparel and accessories to make playing sports for girls safer, more functional and comfortable.  TAPinto spoke with Julie and Rob Stolker this week for a brief update.
