The Spring Gala is one of the most highly anticipated events in our Holmdel community.  This is excellent exposure for local companies to promote themselves to a captive, local audience. As a certified 501 (c) (3) non-profit organization, your donation is 100% tax-deductible, and we will provide you with our tax ID, receipt for your donation and any other information you may need in order to maximize the tax benefit to your business.

The Spring Gala is held on a biennial basis and is our organization’s biggest fundraising event. Funds raised at the Gala will go directly to benefit the teaching and learning experience at our public schools. Our last Spring Gala in 2018 was attended by 350 local residents and raised around $120,000 thanks to the support of the community and sponsors.

HFEE has a bold vision for its initiatives this year and thus, has the goal of raising over $150,000.  The aspirational donation is firmly aligned with the school district’s goal to develop facilities and provide all students with superior programs; maximizing the potential of every student that they service.

Our recent gifts have a direct positive impact on our district and its students on a daily basis. Some of these gifts include: a state-of-the-art, inclusive playground for our elementary school, 2 state-of-the-art science discovery labs, a cardiovascular fitness and wellness center at our high school, a cutting edge music innovation lab at our middle school, and Chromebooks for each student from grades 1-6. We look forward to adding to this impressive list!  Thank you for your support! Please contact us with any questions you may have by email to: mariagordon1@mac.com

The Holmdel Foundation for Educational Excellence was founded in 1996 to bring private funding to Holmdel Public Schools. The Foundation’s goal is to enhance the educational experience of each and every public school student by fostering innovative programs in the areas of Academics, Athletics, and the Arts, and providing funds for the purchase of equipment and other materials used in these programs. The Foundation also enables faculty members and students to undertake a number of unique classroom projects at all grade levels by awarding numerous classroom mini-grants.
