HAZLET, NJ - It has been quite a busy election season for towns served by Monmouth Area TAPinto towns. Municipal candidates worked long and hard all year to win. The results are nearly complete with only ADA machines and provisional ballots pending.

In Colts Neck Township, Committeeman Michael Viola earned 5118 votes. Newcomer to the Township Committee will be Tara Torchia Buss with 5063 votes. They ran unopposed in the largely republican Western Monmouth town.

In Hazlet, longtime elected official Michael Sachs likely won again with 6505 votes compared to his opponent Morgan Pulane who netted 4385 votes. While the results are not yet official or certified it is unlikely that the gaps can be filled by the second place finisher.
