RED BANK, NJ: Nothing better than spending a Tuesday night at Triumph Brewing Company sampling some unique food offerings that were paired with craft beers, wines and a very smooth tequila. Last night was great!
The event tasting menu began with a welcoming cocktail mixture of Ao Sawa Cucumber-infused gin, matcha, simple syrup, Sho Chiku Bai sake and lemon .
The enthusiastic crowd enjoyed a variety freshly prepared food and pairings:
Roasted beets with a radish salad, curry vinaigrette paired with a Farmhouse Saison brew.
Mushroom tostada consisting of cashew cheese, pickled jalapeños with a Rauchbier Lager.
Tequila-cured Salmon containing pickled apple, cilantro Milagro Reposado with a Tequila and lime shooter.
Flemish Carbonade, a flavorsome beef stew made and paired with Triumph’s own Altbier.
Brandade – a very interesting potato crisp with pickled vegetables paired with a Grüner Veltliner wine imported from the Kamptal Austria wine country,
Lamb sausage – an outstanding combination of chermoula, toasted brioche balanced with a Left Coast Pinot Noir, from Willamette Valley, Oregon.
Topping off the evening was a warm, melt-in-your-mouth pretzel doughnut topped with a porter glaze made with pecan brown butter. This went well with a London Porter, a smooth and creamy dark beer with delicious chocolate and coffee flavors.
The evening was a gastronomic and libations success.
“Any time we can create several unique portions that our corporate chef came up, and pair them with craft beer, wine and spirits, you've got the recipe for a successful event. The Triumph team all collaborated on what they should be sampled with,” said Eric Nutt, Corporate Sales Director for Triumph Brewing.
