“We’ve been in business for 15 years and represent virtually any brand of lighting, have a 7-day-a-week showroom, and offer design services. We have a take home policy; If someone comes in sees a lamp, a mirror or a table, they can take it home and try it before they buy it,” said Hough.
Howard spoke about the new division of his company, Crystal Dee Lights, that provides professional chandelier cleaning and fixture installation for both residential and commercial customers.
“You can send us a picture, or we can stop at your house if your local. We look at the size of the fixture, height of the ceiling and we’ll give you a price for cleaning,” said Hough.
He related a story of one client they serviced for the homeowners amber colored chandelier. After cleaning, it was sparkling white! The previous owners were heavy smokers.
Explaining the process, Hough said, “We first lay down plastic sheeting to fully protect the floor. It’s a patented machine with a draining hose, can rise twenty feet high, and encompasses the entire chandelier with a plastic tent. It is sprayed with water and a solution, and then cleaned, polished and dried. It’s cleaner than the day the fixture was installed.”
Make sure you look at the carousel of pictures to get an idea of how it's done and the beautiful results afterwards.
Note to real estate agents: a brilliant chandelier might be just the ticket to close the deal!
