HIGHLANDS, NJ: The "Guns Blazing! The War of 1812" exhibit at TWIN LIGHTS Museum is open until Friday, November 22, 2019, and the galleries are open every day during Twin Lights opening hours.

This Exhibit is a collaboration between the Navesink Maritime Heritage Association, Cavalier Galleries of New York, and Twin Lights Historical Society.

What: The opening of the War of 1812 featured a series of epic single-ship battles between the nascent US Navy and the mighty British Royal Navy.  The quality of American shipbuilding, strategy, and seamanship resulted in a string of victories that opened the world's eyes to the power and promise of the young nation.
