MONMOUTH COUNTY, NJ: On Wednesday, August 12th, Beacon of Life, a PACE Program, hosted a fundraiser to benefit the Wounded Warrior Project. The event was appropriately held at the Parade Field at Fort Monmouth and was free to Veterans and Active Military. A five dollar donation to the Wounded Warrior Project was recommended to the public.
Beacon of Life executive, Angela Ashley, commented, "Today was a great gathering to reconnect with some of our local Veterans and the businesses that support the mission of Beacon of Life. Part of our Beacon of Life mission is to serve our senior population in the best way possible, every day. The businesses here supporting this event all share that same mission." The event began at 10am and included games, a raffle basket, yoga, zumba, a DJ, giveaways and more! Guests also enjoyed delicious meatball meals from Your Sister's Balls food truck.
