St Mary's Parish of Colts Neck Hosts Mindfulness Speaker Dr. Carol Penn


COLTS NECK, N.J. - St Mary's Martha Mary Guild has a timely speaker lined up for their meeting this week. It is Dr. Carol A. Penn.

Dr. Carol Penn is a physician specializing in Integrative Family Practice Medicine with a focus on mind body medicine: arts medicine; and nutrition medicine with an emphasis on prevention and wellness to optimize health.

Dr. Penn will emphasize mindfulness and mind, body and spirit connections.  Mindfullness study is sweeping the country and helping countless people seeking  a more balanced life.

She is also an award winning choreographer, who trained with New York’s Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater. She may have special moves on tap for the audience to learn.

The meeting is Wednesday, Jan. 10, 2018 and you can join for a very interesting and beneficial afternoon. 

They  invite you to say the rosary in the Chapel located behind the church at 11:30 a.m.  BYOL (Bring Your Own Lunch) at noon and the Guild will provide refreshments.  Dr. Penn will begin around 12:30.  They say: "Take time for yourself – you deserve it!"
