HOLMDEL, NJ: The Asian American Community in Holmdel, hosted a week-long Law Enforcement Appreciation Event! Over 80 Asian American families in Holmdel, took turns delivering delicious meals from Koi, pizza, desserts, flowers, heartfelt thank you notes and more!

Much to the enjoyment of the Holmdel Police Officers, the food deliveries and thank you notes kept being delivered all week long, during Independence week! One note read: "To the Holmdel Police Officers: We would like to show our appreciation to you who keep our community safe and let us sleep soundly at night... " Many residents dropped off food, waving American flags. Masks were worn and social distancing was in place, however there were many smiling eyes to be seen on the faces of the those giving and those receiving.

Holmdel resident Sunny commented, "We appreciate our Holmdel Police Officers very much and this is a small way to show them how thankful we are to them for everything they do for our community." 

Active participant in the appreciation efforts, Weiping Wang commented, "Upon Independence Day of 2020, more than 80 Chinese American families in Holmdel arranged a week long appreciation with activities to show gratitude to the police force in their own simple and plain ways..."  Thank you Holmdel PD!!
