RED BANK, NJ: The Red Bank Classic 5K, one of the most anticipated short-course races has been postponed to June 19, 2021, due to the COVID-19 pandemic.  Sponsors and registered runners will automatically be transferred to the new date.

Locally, the race had benefited the Red Bank Parks and Recreation Department and the Family YMCA.  Last year over 1,500 runners had participated and the race has grown every year.

"When we rescheduled the race for October, we were optimistic that we would be able to bring our community together again safely for a fall run and Fit Fest.  But given the continued spread of the coronavirus, and the uncertainty, we just couldn't move forward with the Red Bank Classic 5K this year.

We look forward to coming back even stronger on June 19, 2021 and greatly appreciate the support that we've received from the Red Bank business community,” said Angela Courtney, one of the founders of the charity race and owner of Sweetest Sin Boutique on White Street.
