Welcome Spring!

Lillian Rahill and Victoria Charlebois are using their booklets as a reference while planting sunflower seeds.

Hudson Maxim students in Mrs. DeLorenzo’s Kindergarten class have been learning about the many changes that occur in spring.  We have been reading about these changes through fiction and non-fiction texts, as well as observing the changes first hand while enjoying the fresh air and sunshine.  We chose to learn more about sunflowers and how they grow.  We identified the parts of a sunflower and sequenced its lifecycle.  We also made booklets on how to plant a seed.

We will give our seeds water and sun and look forward to charting their growth. Welcome Spring!
