JERSEY CITY, NJ - Inspired by her mother’s struggle with the disease, Monique Smith Andrews is the founder and CEO Mo’Hair Foundation, a Jersey City-based non-profit organization that provides free non-surgical replacement for cancer patients and other individuals who have lost their hair as a result of their medical treatment.

Andrews, a professional hairstylist, has received numerous awards for her charity work.

A native of Bayonne, Andrews graduated from Natural Motion Beauty School in 1983 and opened her salon Monique’s Techniques in 1988. Since this time she has earned a reputation as a master stylist and makeup artist, and has developed a clientele of celebrities, sports figures, politicians, and members of the community.
