JERSEY CITY, NJ - The brother of Christian Lee Parra, the man that “was taken from us,” in a shooting in the BJ’s parking lot Sunday evening, has established a GoFundMe page to support his surviving family.

Christian, whom was described in the tribute as “an amazing kind-hearted soul who will forever hold a place in our minds and hearts,” leaves behind his wife, two daughters, his Lena, Ava and a son, Sir.

“They will grow up without a father, his wife without a husband.” Christian’s mother and father will go on without their son and a brother without his best friend, the heartfelt message continues.

Eric Maldanado said that his brother “was a well regarded soul and considered one of the nicest individuals anyone would ever want to meet. He was an enabler, someone who was able to motivate you, into moving forward in your life and obtaining personal growth. He was a gem that shined so brightly in my life, in my world. He was a sneaker collector and a family man. Two things he cherished deeply.”

“In an instant his life was cut short for no logical reasoning. The life of a good man was taken in a moment’s notice.”

As of publication that GoFundMe has raised $19,280 towards its goal of $25,000. Click here to donate.
