JERSEY CITY, NJ - Hudson County’s parks are back open after crews worked “sunup until sundown” Wednesday clearing debris and damage brought on by Tropical Storm Isaias. The remnants of the hurricane swept through Hudson County Tuesday leaving behind a swath of fallen trees and limbs, officials said.

Saying they wanted to make sure there was no danger programs such as tennis were also cancelled.

Braddock Park in North Bergen suffered the worst damage, said Freeholder Bill O’Dea, noting that falling tree limbs brought down power lines. All the parks sustained damage, including Lincoln Park in Jersey City, Columbus Park in Hoboken, and Stephen Gregg Park in Bayonne.
