HUDSON COUNTY, NJ - Steve Lenox, Publisher of TAPinto Bayonne, TAPinto Hoboken, and TAPinto Jersey City, recently welcomed Carrie Nawrocki, Director of the Hudson Regional Health Commission, and David Drumeler, Deputy Business Administrator for Hudson County.
Nawrocki and Drumeler, under the direction of Hudson County Executive Tom Degise have been heading up the county's vaccination efforts, including by overseeing Hudson County's Vaccine Distribution Center in Kearny. The site can administer between 1300-1500 vaccinations a day, and has seen the delivery of more than 16,000 doses to date, a number held down only by the number of doses being delivered to Hudson County.
Lenox also welcomed JP Pocarro, Library Director for the Bayonne Public Library, who described the role libraries play in the communities they serve, and as a place that is about so much more than books. Pocarro also shared initatives the Bayonne Public Library has launced since the pandemic began and invited residents to participate in library activites virturally.
